Gauteng on the move is an initiative of the Gauteng Department of Transport, in alignment with the Integrated Transport Management Plan (ITMP25) for the greater Gauteng region. The Gauteng on the move App is the first Application that strives to give easy access to the broader community of the Gauteng province to public transport options.

The first version of the Application allows commuters to plan trips between any two points in Gauteng, see available public transport options, as well as costs, duration and number of transfers required in the journey.
Commuters can also select between various transport agencies and preferred transit modes.

Users are encouraged to register on the App to receive important news and updates from the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport.
Look out for future additions on the App that will expand on the amount of available transport agencies, as well as payment options for transit cards.
